With the recent announcement of further restrictions on sport from the Government of Alberta, GEMSA has postponed the start of the 2021 season until Monday June 7th.
GEMSA has no plans to cancel the season and is prepared to start games in any capacity as soon as allowed by Alberta Health Services.
We anticipate the season to end in late July or early August, in time for Softball Alberta’s Provincial Championships in August.
We will provide further updates, including team schedules and playoff dates, as soon as possible.
